District Grant Applications and Grant Writing Workshops

The Mid-Missouri Solid Waste Management District is announcing the availability of grant funding for projects which will assist the District and the State of Missouri in achieving goals of diverting waste from landfills into recycling/reuse streams. Two grant rounds are scheduled for small grant projects (grant funding $5,000 or less) and one grant round for large projects (grant funding $5,000.01 to $70,000). Interested applicants should register for one of the District grant writing workshops scheduled July 20, 2010 and August 5, 2010 and refer to the FY 2011 District Grant Application and Guidance Document. We’ve Moved! New Location for MMSWMD Office.

The Mid-Missouri Solid Waste Management District “H” office has relocated.

The mailing address has not changed, but the MMSWMD office is now located on the Third Floor of the new addition to the Daniel Boone Building (Columbia’s City Hall) with the Public Works Administration & Engineering Group.

Enter Columbia’s City Hall at the corner of East Broadway and Eighth Street; take the elevator to the Third Floor; then turn right to the Public Works / MMSWMD offices.
