The City of Fulton will have a Grand Opening of their new HHW location on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The facility is now located at 151 West Tennyson Rd. (map) This is also the location of the newest Fulton Fire House. To make an appointment to drop off your unwanted household hazardous waste, call 573-592-3150.
In conjunction with this HHW collection day, Mid MO Recycling will be on hand to collect any unwanted, old, or broken electronics. All items will be taken free of charge with the exception of these five items: TV’s, computer monitors, copiers, and microwaves. Please contact Mid MO Recycling at recycle@socket.net or call 573-474-3997 to inquire about their fees.
April 28th is National Drug Prescription Take Back Day. Local law enforcement officers will also be on site to collect any unwanted or expired prescription and over the counter medications. Click here to learn more about preparing your medications for disposal.
